Father's Day 2011

Father's Day was extra special this year because my husband is now a Father!  So, not only were we able to celebrate our own dads, but Little R was able to celebrate his dad!  Here are some of my favorite things about our dads:

"Dad"/"Rick"/"Grandpa/Doo Da?"

*Makes us try all kinds of weird/strange birds (at least to me) such as: duck, quail, pheasant, and dove

*Plays "Oh Bee Goes Round and Round"....one of Little R's favorite games

*Compares things in life to episodes of "Seinfeld"

*Can fix anything and build anything

*Likes to show us how to do/build/make things!

*Loves our dog, Chip, as much as his own dogs, Gauge and Hank (ha!)

*Is always one of the first to call or text on a special occasion (birthday, anniversary) :)

*Is a wonderful Dad/Grandpa to all of us!!!

"Daddy"/"Grandaddy"

*Makes the best waffles in the world

*Is a great listener and gives wonderful advice

*Lived in a house with 3 women for 18 years and seldom complained (Wow!)

*Is brave enough to keep Little R all by himself

*Gives some of the sweetest compliments in the world

*Made my mom, sister, and I feel like the most beautiful girls ever when we were growing up

*Has transformed my parents backyard into a beautiful "garden" with fountains/flowers/walkways

*Is a wonderful Daddy/Grandaddy to all of us!!!

"Daddy"/"Hubby"

*Keeps all of us laughing (alot!)

*Gives the best hugs

*Likes to take Little R for walks in his wagon

*Says a prayer with us each morning before he leaves for work

*Works very hard to provide for us :)

*Does "bath time" with Little R almost every night

*Is super handy and can fix anything around the house!!!

*Is a wonderful Daddy/Hubby to us!!!
